Citizens For Animal Protection (CAP) Shelter

Our mission is to shelter, rescue and place homeless animals in loving homes; advocate respect and compassion for all animal life and provide humane education to prevent animal cruelty and raise awareness in our community of the needs of animals. Along with our dedicated staff, we rely greatly on volunteers and our foster program to help care for thousands of pets every year. Our feral cat program (FCAP) works tirelessly to reduce the feral cat overpopulation through trap-neuter-return (TNR), and our vaccination clinic helps provide low cost veterinary care to the public every Saturday. CAP also provides humane education and community outreach programs to encourage love and respect for animals. Your kids will love our Kids Camp activities, be sure to sign up for summer camp!
